Are there clothing-optional resorts in Palm Springs for couples?
Very few. The three couples-oriented naturist resorts in Palm Springs (the Terra Cotta, Tuscany Manor and Desert Sun) have all closed. In town, only Exotic Dreams admits mixed couples, and it is a lifestyle (swinger) resort. The other options are in Desert Hot Springs (Mi Kasa, Hotel O2, Sea Mountain) and at Glen Eden Sun Club in Temescal Valley, about 75 miles west.
Is Sea Mountain a nudist resort or a swingers' resort?
Sea Mountain is clothing-optional and admits couples and women only, but it operates as a lifestyle (swinger-friendly) club. If you want traditional, non-sexual naturism, Glen Eden or Mi Kasa are a better fit.
Is Tuscany Manor still open?
No. Tuscany Manor went clothing-optional in 2019 and has since closed, although some booking sites still list it.
Is Desert Sun Resort still open?
Not as a nudist resort. Desert Sun was sold in 2024, closed in early 2025 and reopened as Casa Palma, a hotel where clothing is required.
